Story Due Dates

Your story is due at midnight on the date indicated in BLACK. It will be workshopped on the date indicated in RED. Please note: Late stories will not be workshopped.
All stories should be submitted as Word documents and placed in the STORY 1 folder on Google Drive. Please format using Times or Times Roman, double-spaced, with page numbers, and name the file FirstLast.Story1.docx. Your story may be any length (up to 15 double-spaced pages), but please make sure you have carefully revised, proofread, and edited the manuscript.
The names in GREEN are those who will serve as the primary critics for those stories. Primary critics should be well-prepared to present detailed comments on the story to which they’ve been assigned. Those comments include briefly summarizing the action of the story, discussing the story’s thematic concerns, and pointing out the strengths and weaknesses of the story and any other factors that convey the quality of the story and the work that might be done to enhance the story. The class will then use those comments as the starting-point for our discussions.
All students should have carefully read the stories to be workshopped and should provide line edits, marginal comments, and a terminal comment.
